Tell me something interesting that everyone should know about you?

Current Whereabouts:

I currently reside in my hometown with my loving husband and three wonderful children. I taught middle school for five years before becoming an at-home-mother; now I am a writer, hoping to complete my efforts in a published book, syndicated column, etc.... Thanking God everyday for His grace and mercy.

Claim To Fame:

Founder of Pillars Playgroup (www.pillarsplaygroup.org); a local organization for stay-at-home-mothers-(of color). We support women who have chosen to leave their PROFESSIONS and raise and nurture our children by becoming at-home mothers. I have also come in to the realization about myself and have since gone natural and now sporting locs! (Check out my web page/hair journal.)

Most Memorable Moment:

Moving OFF Campus and the Noon day "Ave." hang-outs.
