I was the first person in my immediate family to graduate from college. I graduated with a degree in law enforcement and one in social work. I feel that my greatest obstacle was and is defying the odds prepetrated by the racist media and so-called research. Another point of definition that makes me special is my love and desire for my ancestors and their abiding love for change!! Conscious Afro-centrism is a dying art among a lot of youg people today and somehow we must restore the hope!!!

My next mountain to climb is that I want to accomplish and finish my degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, for a Masters in School Administration.

Most Memorable Moment:

Walking across verdant greens and crescent slopes of N.C.C.U. Observing the 2004 Presidential debate of John Edwards with Bruce Mathews as the host, and grauating with honors.

High School: Bertie High School in Windsor, NC class of 1990

Activities & Accomplishments:

I was junior class president and my sophomore year the 'MIGHTY FALCONS" of Bertie went 20-0!!! First time in school history!

Best Memories:

Saying a curse word as I perpared for my speech as president of the Senior Class!!!
