Claim To Fame:

Becoming the second-ever general manager in Major League Baseball. (Ken Williams of the Chicago White Sox the first.) Obtaining the general manager position for the Atlanta Braves organization, then being able to reach out to my original community, (Lawton, Oklahoma) and the Atlanta area to show the promise of young African-Americans and the things that we are capable of.

Most Memorable Moment:

The looks on my kids faces after explaining different situational problems in the math class that I was tutoring at the time. They almost seemed overwhelmed that it became so clear and concise to them, that it made me smile from ear to ear.
