Claim To Fame:
My name is Brittany Griffin and I am a W.E. B. Dubois Scholar. I attend Huston-Tillotson University and I am majoring in Psychology, and a minor in criminal justice. I plan to further my education continuing on to graduate school upon graduating Huston-Tillotson. My future goals are to publish my own book of poetry that I have been writing for 10 years now. I have only published two of them and I have written over 367 poems. After graduating from graduate school I plan to open my own private practice in criminal law or psychology either way I would just love to work with people. I am all about helping and I am very good at listening and analyzing situations. That is also why I chose psychology as my major. I am the youngest of six and I was molested at the age of 13. So as you can read I have a lot of knowledge and I am really understanding to many things. Everyone is destined to be someone or something as for me I’m like Robert Frost and I will always travel the road less taken, because I strive to be different and you never know where it will lead you, if you don’t take a chance. My Life Achievement quote that I made for myself is: INSTEAD OF WORRYING ABOUT TOMORROW, LIVE FOR TODAY, AND NO MATTER WHAT ONE MAY THINK OF YOU, ONLY YOU CAN DETERMINE WHAT YOU DO, LIVE FOR YOURSELF, AND CAUSE CHANGE IN YOURSELF AND OTHERS, DON’T BE THE EFFECT, BE THE CAUSE OF DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD…( By: Brittany Winfrae Griffin)
