I believe my fame will only be noticed by the 20-30 high students that will sit in my class each period as I try to pass on my love of mathematics through my teaching. I might not be known across the country and probably not even across the city, but my contributions to my community and my students will hopefully be influential as my 9th grade Algebra teacher was for me. The news station will probably never do a story on me, but my students will remember me as a teacher who actually cared for her job and students. Someone who loved their job b/c of the many lives they got to touch and b/c they watched their students grow into beautiful beings; thats the person I want my students to remember.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of my more innocent memorable nights had to have been when I first met all of my friends. We met the first night we moved in. It was about 11pm and I went out into the hallway dancing (I'm outgoing, can you tell?). About eight more girls came out into the hallway with me. We all talked til about 2am. We've been friends since!
