What will you do to bring about the kind of change we can believe in?
"Hopefully I'm doing that already by running my website MyAfricanDiaspora.com. Our mission is to bring black people divided by the slave trade and left in Africa together to form one powerful unity through dialogue and our shared connection." Interviewed by J. A. Faulkerson 03/18/10

What does your tomorrow look like?
"I want my screenplays to be sold, a million t-shirts sold, my wife's book to be published and to start my next business in Africa." Interviewed by Brother Marcus! 03/18/10

Eric Deal was born in Cleveland, OH, and after a few stops, now calls South Carolina home. Always interested in creative pursuits, Eric graduated from the College of Southern Nevada with a degree in Graphic Design. He is also the founder of Stay Woke Studios, an Independent Film Production company. Eric has penned spec full-feature and short screenplays for both television and film. His work has received recognition in the BlueCat and Austin Film Festival screenwriting contests. Eric has also produced, written, and directed 1 feature film, 2 short films, one of which was sold to Shorts TV.
