I was one of those teen moms walking around thinking I knew it all. I grew up in a lower middle class household. I had an active mom, but lived with my grandparents. Despite being raised in a praying household, I became pregnant in my teens. But because of my upbringing, I managed to leave Chicago with my son and moved to a rural town to pursue my B.A. in English Education. Despite my shortcomings, I am now a newly successful teacher that yearns for the next level in this thing called life.
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently attending Langston University working on my Masters of Education degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. I am a full -time single mom. I am a dedicated English teacher at an alternative school in urban OKC.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I aspire to travel this world. I want to step foot on every continent. If the opportunity presented itself for me to go to the moon, I would go. After I complete my Masters, I plan to use that ESL paper to move me around the globe.
