Finally publishing my book, Musings of a Mocha Sistah in 2001.
Most Memorable Moment:
Being able to teach poetry to at-risk youth. They have a lot of talent, they just need a person who cares to assist with their creative process. Oh, and getting 2nd place in the 2003 Poet of the Year Contest sponsored by Spoken Vizions Magazine in St. Louis.
