Undergrad Major: Child Development

Claim To Fame:

My claim to fame during and after college will be to uphold Spelman College's motto and that is "women who serve". I do not need to be in the lime light, my fame is to make a difference. I am currently volunteering at Alonzo F. Herndon Elementary school. My claim to fame is to make a difference in the children's lives that I am working with. My claim to fame is for me to be a role model for my students, to be an outlet, and to just let them know somebody cares about their future, their sucesses, and their failures. I must admit that I already feel like a star to them. When I come into the classroom I always get a smile, a hug, and a little cheer that I have arrived. I feel to whom much is given much is required. This is why i truly love working with children. I have been truly blessed throughout my life and I feel that I should give whatever i can to others, especially children. This a major reason why I am studying to be a teacher. I could easily study law, or economics, and get a job making six figures when i graduate. I do not knock other who have and are successful, but i feel i will not be happy in those feilds. My fame will be in the eyes of the children that i will work with.

Most Memorable Moment:

HH council, Homecomming, Spring Break,Freshman year as a whole. My Lovely Ladies always on point.
