Claim To Fame:

i wouldn't call this a "claim to fame" per se, but i will say that i always had people asking, "what's she runnin' her big mouth about NOW?" but at least i followed my crowin' with ACTION! "isn't she gay?"--ahh, one thing that made people wonder...just cause i tried to bring awareness to the school with a program on homosexuality/brothers on the DL, etc....and just cause i didn't go around clingin to some guy's arm & cause i kept what needed to be "private" private...IGNORANT folks always had to speculate! heck, at least i wasn't afraid to "get folks talkin" about stuff. yeah, i spoke up & i don't regret it. i pray that more folks will "emancipate [themselves] from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind"--bob marley

Most Memorable Moment:

i just remember being around a diverse and most dynamic group of black women. indeed, there's no place on this earth like BC! memorable moments: crossing into Deltaland (Spr '02); J-Rey!; my years as a RA; the "drama"...; dr. scott jammin' at president's ball and nubian nuance; Dr. Mac & Dr. Cobb, of course!
