I was born in Louisville, Kentucky but raised in New Albany, Indiana which is right across the river. My father is Cape Verdean and my mother is black. My father is a UofL alumini and an active member of Phi Beta Sigma. I have one brother who graduated from IUPUI in 2007, and I have two younger step-brothers. For a long time I was the only girl in my family so I am somewhat of a tomboy. I lived in New Albany until I was 13, then I moved to Indianapolis. I lived in Indy for two years and moved back to New Albany to graduate high school.

What keeps you inspired to reach your goals?
Current Whereabouts:
Reading and writing.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I hope to graduate with a degree in film production. Eventually, I would like to move to New York and begin a career producing tv shows and maybe even movies. My final goal is to end up directing.

Activities & Accomplishments:
Bulldolls Dance Team for 2 years. Member of Diamonds Club. United the students and teachers during the protest to raise the school staff's pay.
