A native of Auburn, Alabama, Melissa spent nearly 20 years in the Metro Atlanta area where she worked for such companies as INROADS/Atlanta, AT&T Broadband and NCR ( National Cash Register). Before leaving Atlanta due to health reasons, Melissa worked as Purchasing Manager for NCR's Spare Parts Division and obtained her Real Estate License from the Georgia Real Estate Institute. She also earned a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management from Troy University's Atlanta Campus. She has worked as an HR Manager for Cummings Signs, Winn-Dixie Logistics and before becoming a full-time REALTOR, was the Director of Human Resources for Health Services, Inc.

Melissa has a passion for business and has owned several businesses throughout her career including and HR Consulting Firm (ERG) Employee Resources Group. Today, she's solely focused on Real Estate. Her experience in Senior Management positions has equipped her with the skills of negotiation and the necessary people skills to make your home buying or selling experience seamless. Her clients and customers enjoy the special services that she provides, real knowledge, real services!

Melissa is married to Wilbur Johnson and enjoys church and family. She spends her spare time volunteering with several local community organizations and is a member of the Alabama A&M Montgomery Alumni Chapter.
