Claim To Fame:
I am into a little bit of everything at school. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., as well as a member of Pi Gamma Mu and Psi Chi (honor societies). I am a Presidential Scholar, and I am on the dean's list for all eight completed semesters. I was also recently named a member of the National Dean's List. I was nominated to Who's Who Among America's Colleges and Universites in 2005. Graduated with honors. Was Miss Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, inc. 04-05.
Most Memorable Moment:
When I was a freshman and I was walking down the steps of the student center (they were wet), and I fell down all the steps in front of what seemed to be the whole campus of South Carolina State University. I thought it was funny. Of course, joining the illustrious sisterhood-DST my sophomore year. Becoming Miss DST and representing my sorority in the 2004 Coronation of Miss SCSU. Graduating in 2005, happy to be heading back to Brooklyn, but realizing that I was leaving a bigger piece of my heart in Orangeburg than I thought I would be.
