Undergrad Major: Communication

Claim To Fame:

Surviving and succeeding at a predominantly white private school for the past 5 years. It was hard dealing with ignorant people, but the experience made me a stronger person. From that experience I developed a strong passion in human rights and issues face black youth.

Most Memorable Moment:

My most memorable event so far has been going to the Dominican Republic and working in an ophanage. Working with those children who have such a positive outlook on life despite their hardships was a wonderful experience. It made me appreciate the things I have and often take for granted.
