Location: Savannah, GA United States

About   (request update)
My name is Tiffany Rose Tennerson and I am a 23 year old alum of ASU with my Bachelor's in the field of psychology and marketing. I am from Savannah, GA. My parents are Charles and Willie Mae Tennerson, and I have five sisters and one brother. Although I am the youngest of seven, I am also the first to attend a four-year university (Albany State University). I am the first to join a Black Greek Lettered Organization (Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.). My other organizations include: cartoonist for Student Voice (ASU newspaper), psychology club, and radio personality for 92.7 WASU.

I consider myself to be multi-talented because I write poetry, draw, sing, etc. Scholastically, I have achieved many honors such as: Psi Chi National Psychology Honor Society, Hope Scholar, etc. Conversely, I my current gpa is a 3.47. I also serve as a tutor, mentor, and avid speaker to young women of ASU and the community.

Personally, I have learned a lot while attending Albany State University. I have went through some personal loses, yet obtained personal growth spiritually, mentally, and physically. It has always been my mission to maintain a honorable character because I believe a woman's reputation is very paramount to her development and survival.

I believe what makes me different from others is my desire to exceed average success, my sense of humor, my will to unselfishly help others, and my love for life.

Best Memories:
One of my best high school memories occured when I was awarded my Papa John's Scholarship. I was sitting in my JGG class when Officer Copeland came in and said, "Is there a Tiffany Tennerson in this class?" I answered and he replied, "You're under arrest." I began laughing in my state of shock. However, he was stern saying, "This is not a laughing matter." Never for one second was I scared because I had not only the support of my entire class, but the pride of an innocent student. Officer Copeland tried to handcuff me, but I humbly resisted saying, "Unless I know what my charges are, I will not be handcuffed." As he began to excort me outside, I saw my teacher, my mother, my principal, and Papa John's representatives. Then, Officer Copeland smiled and everyone cheered. To my relief it was a suprise and everyone aside from my classmates were in on it! So I was awarded my scholarship and a classroom pizza party in my honor. Who would have thought!
