Claim To Fame:
After I graduated, I tried to get into my major, without much success. Then I heard about this program called the Teaching Fellows, where they except people with BA degrees, and give them a crash course in the teaching field. The district you work for pays for your tuition to attend a graduate school(Pittsburgh State if you work for the USD 500, UMKC if you work on the Missouri side). This is a blessing for me, as I am now making a starting teacher's salary, plus going to school to obtain my Masters in Elementary Education. I really enjoy teaching, and I am currently teaching the 3rd grade.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable event was when i crossed over the burning sands and became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., spr 97 T.S.S.O.T.B.R., Gamma Psi Chapter.
