What are your ultimate goals in life?
Current Whereabouts:
This is Meteorologist Dwain Elvin Miller Jr. and I am currently a first-year graduate student in Geographic Information Systems and alumnus of Florida State University, where I reside in Tallahassee, Florida. Eventually, I will like to earn a Doctorate of Science in Tropical Meteorology at the University of Miami and work at the National Hurricane Center. Undergrad Major: Atmospheric Science
Claim To Fame:
I plan to be a meteorologist with a doctoral degree and one day working for the National Weather Service as a severe weather researcher.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable experience in college is probably the idea of actually coming out to West Virginia for school. Numerous people stereotype and joke on this state because of supposed racism, incest, and hillbillys. However, as I have continued me education here I have learned to actually get out and figure things out yourself rather than listen to word of mouth. While living here in West Virginia, I have learned that it is quite nice, the people off campus are friendlier than back at home, and it is more peaceful and easier to concentrate on what needs to be done to succeed.
