Thanks for stopping by my BP profile! I'm not sure how you got here, but YOU ARE HERE for a REASON...and it's great to meet you!

The reason I started this BP profile is because I was confident that if I go to school, make good grades, go to college, earn the degree and find an awesome job with benefits then I would be on the path to become wealthy...NOT!!!

The Rude Awakening...

I was a freshman in college (Fisk University), with a $6,000 credit card debt and working for $6.50/hour in the Fisk Cafe and that was not going to cut it for me.

I just believed there was another way to bring in more money in my house, well dorm room at that time, other than slaving away at some $6.50/hour Just Over Broke.

I was loaded down in debt   , looking for a way out. DEBT is what led me to begin searching for my own Business Online, and that's why I created this profile.

I truly believe that it's time to give back and show other people the exact same road that allowed me to reach my Personal and Financial goals.

I'm here to meet, network and share my story with College Students, Teachers, and Newbie/Experienced entrepreneurs who are looking for the complete blueprint to a new way of living.

Hopefully my story will inspire you to change something in your life and discover a better alternative versus the whole going to school thing, just like I did when I started working from home, being my own boss and making money online.

But before I get into all of that good stuff like how to make immediate income, how to build a $250k business like Jay did, or how Mari Ann made $27k in Less than 3 months all while using the exact same system, let me tell you a little more about who I am and what I'm all about...

Who is Ashley Wilbur Anyways??

You can probably tell from the picture I'm not your traditional professional...no brief case, heels and suit for me. But, don't get it twisted; I can put on the look when I want to do it.



I'm the CEO of my business, and I determine what professionalism is.



I love being comfortable...my rules...my way...nobody telling me what to do and no clocks to punch.



I was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee.



Growing up, I didn't have a silver spoon in my mouth. As a matter of fact, we used to get those JC Penny wish books in the mail, and they were just that...wish books...lol. My mom made sure we had what we needed, and if we were struggling, she was pretty good about hidding it.



 I graduated from Fisk University with a BA in English in May 2008. One month later, I was blessed to be hired as a high school English teacher at my alma mater, Howard High School.



Like most of you out there, High school graduation could not come fast enough. I was ready to get out on my own, so I could do what I wanted to do. I couldn't wait to get the degree so I could get the good job with benefits.



But when I got used to living on Campus at Fisk, I looked around and saw how much the people around me were miserable and frustrated with their financial situations and lifestyle in general.



People my age were working 2 or 3 jobs just to make sure tuition was paid, and I was one of them.



...and for what...to make someone else rich...



My biggest frustrations...

• using COLLEGE REFUND CHECKS as my lifeline


• screening phone calls because of bill collectors (4 Credit Cards MAXED OUT)


• jumping into every paid experiment that Meharry or Vanderbilt offered

My relationships suffered because I had to always work. I couldn't enjoy my college days because I was always working.



I couldn't enjoy the spring, summer, fall or winter breaks because I had to...you know it by now...work.

I remember one X-mas where I had $150.00 to my name. My car broke down ($600 worth of damages) two days before my birthday (Dec.18th) and my $485.00 rent was due on the 5th of January. My family was moving to Florida because the house had foreclosed. . .I felt like I was in hell.



My roommate let me borrow her car while she went back to Texas to be with her family for Christmas.



I stayed in Nashville by myself to work the 2am-7am shift at FED EX, pushing big ole' boxes on a moving belt.



Yep...that's right. I was away from my family on X-mas because I needed money.



Nope that just was not how I wanted to continue living.



Ya sure...somebody has to do it...but it "wasn't finna be me".

I had dreams bigger than the 9-5 and I wasn't going to allow any job to make me leave my dreams behind.

I am the CO-Creator of my destiny and I don't settle.

 After doing some research online for a way to become successful, here's what I learned my freshmen year at Fisk that made me rethink the whole idea of getting a degree and it's simple. I discovered the Network Marketing industry. . .

The poor and middle class work for money.

The rich have money work for them.

All I needed was a way to add to my will. So I began to learn any and everything I could about this new found way of making money...

Joined my first MLM (Quixtar)...

I did everything my upline told me and I failed miserably. Three people joined my team and quit before the 30 days was up.

I got a $9.80 check from this business and my upline told me to frame it because I was going to see plenty more checks like that but bigger.

All I know is that this joker left me like a fart in the wind, and I was completely lost.

So...I found another company. (I know I'm not the only one who has jumped from one opportunity to the next :=).

Joined MLM #2...

I loved the products (Noni Juice/HIRO) and my sponsor (Ms. Joan). . .but something was missing.

I did everything I was being told like...

• hold one-on-one meetings

• attend the hotel meetings call leads

• 3 foot rule

• pass out business cards in the malls and grocery stores to complete strangers.

• show a dvd to about a bunch of people in my dorm room (totally illegal and got many $50 fines for this...lol)

I was struggling and frustrated with the way things were going, and I started asking around about what is it that the top earners were doing that I needed to do, and nobody was giving me the answers I wanted to hear.

I had a feeling that the top earners in Tahitian Noni International were doing something other than the **3 foot rule** and the **notorious name list** to make 6 figures a month.

 Until One Day...

I checked my notes on BP, and saw one that changed my life. It said,

The Hamilton County School district (my school district) has about 525 positions over the state-mandated BEP requirements, including 463 teachers. Chief Financial Officer Tommy Kranz proposed eliminating between 160 and 220 positions. He admitted teachers wouldn't be happy about the proposed changes. Baker said, "We need better communication with them. If they see the deficit we're in, they'll understand why we're having to do this."

They can’t be serious... We teachers are about to lose our jobs after we've paid thousands of dollars to go to school and get our degrees and they want us to understand???
