During the last twenty-five years, Vera has worked in various areas of the technology profession. Her current job is working as a Data and Application Support Analyst for Petersburg, City Public Schools in Petersburg, VA. She provides not only behind-the-scenes data and integration support, she also provides training for staff and administrators. She believes that everyone has expertise in some area of technology. They just have to tap into it. Over the span of Vera's career, her project management skills have promoted strong team building and successful project completion. She is a life-long learner who seeks opportunities to pursue certifications in various applications. Vera has been a mentor for not only students, but younger staff in the field of technology and management.

In Vera's spare time, she loves to read, cook, do arts and crafts, along with caring for her family. She believes that making time for what matters most is very important. Vera continues to strive for excellence by helping others be successful in their careers.
