Claim To Fame:
A painter and a writer: co-author of Hidden in Plain View: A Secret Story of Quilts and the Underground Railroad. Writer of seeral other articles including "These Hands" 2001 Crisis Magazine Exhibiting watercolor painter and quilter.
Most Memorable Moment:
Most memorable professors were Prof. Numa Rousseve, Prof. Sr. Laurana Neely, SBS and Prof. John Scott In 1986 was chosen as first Thomas Mann Fellow as artist in residence, Lubeck, Germany
