About (request update)

I have been working since I was 17 years old. I have done secretarial work and child care. I taught Head Start in my home for 12 years and loved every moment of it. I had been the sole care giver for both my parents for the last four years of their life. I have been married for 20 years and I think I will soon be the sole care provider for my husband. About 10 months ago I enrolled in college for Court Reporting. It has truly been a challenge as I work full-time during the day and attend classes three nights a week. Being the strong black woman I am, I am up for the challenge. I have three children and 10 grandchildren and have a personal relationship with each one. I am truly blessed with good health, a strong intelligent mind, and surrounded by people who genuinely love and support me.

My Interview Question

I am presently enrolled in a CourtReporting School. Any tips on how to increase my speed. I am currently at 80 wmp.

Current Whereabouts:

Reading Black Novels and Self Help books. Signing up for Belly Dancing classes. Enjoy spending time with friends just socializing as I do not have much free time. Love spending time with my grandchildren. Most of time is spent studying and practicing on my steno machine.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

Upon graduation from Court Reporting School, I will become employed in a Court Room setting and later work in the movie industry. I do not plan on retiring at 65 but probably change venues. I plan to become more active at my church; joining one of the ministries and serving others. I love children and would love to do some volunteer work with children... it doesn't matte what age.
