Lawrence G. Malloy is a Senior, Media Studies Major at The Fort Valley State University. Lawrence is currently a Staff Writer, Reporter, and Social Media Correspondent for The Fort Valley State University Peachite, the official news source for the university. Many have acclaimed his work as “astonishing and one of a kind”.

Lawrence also serves as the Executive Secretary for The Fort Valley State University Student Government Association, Director of Communications for The Fort Valley State University Chapter of Collegiate 100, 2015 Thurgood Marshall College Fund Student Ambassador, The Fort Valley State University Student Ambassador, and a member of Toastmasters International. In preparation for his career aspirations as a Media Relations Specialist, Lawrence plans and coordinates events, write and publish news articles and designs and publish promotional flyers.

In his spare time, Lawrence loves to read novel fiction, write and publish blogs, and model. Lawrence’s motto for life is “Simply give it your all or give it nothing, work hard until there is no work left.”

Current Whereabouts:

I am currently into networking with other college students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities and abroad. I am also interested in meeting other students in the field of communications.

Most Memorable Moment:

Being able to represent my class and my University two years in a row, both as Mister Royal Blue(1st Attendant to Mister Fort Valley State University) and this year as The Fort Valley State University Student Government Association Executive Secretary. I love Fort Valley State University and it means the world to me to be able to serve the students of FVSU.
