Marchaeus Bacon is originally from Slidell Louisiana a Suburban Community right outside of New Orleans where he was born and raised. He is the youngest in a family with two children. Growing up he was always either into Technology or what was going on in the world. Well, in the end a love for people and Policy would shape what he is currently doing with his career.

In the past Marchaeus was a very important player as a Grassroots Organizer in getting the vote out for President Obama and helping to galvanize the voting base in Southeast Louisiana as a Campaign Manager, OFA Data Coordinator,and in 2012 in the last cycle of the campaign as an OFA Fellow. He also started Mbacon Political Strategies which he has used as a catalyst for educating and empowering people to “own their Government!” and be empowered to be an educated electorate. His group has worked on everything from helping people understand the Laws to lobbying his or her Congress persons, and Position and Policy Papers. Marchaeus has also worked for The Gulf Coast Center for Law and Policy where he served as a Sr. Policy Analyst working on issues of Voting Rights Policies that are currently effecting the Gulf Coast Region as well as across the Country, Immigration from a Black prospective, Peoples Movement Assemblies, and Policy Papers.

Marchaeus holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN; and A Masters in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix AZ. He also has other training in various areas of Technology and recently with Liberal and Progressive groups. He is a member of a number of Progressive Community Organization’s as well as a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. In the Future Marchaeus plans to return to school to receive a second Masters in Public Policy so he can take his career into even greater areas of service to people and this great country. Marchaeus Currently works on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
