A native South Floridian, I am a mother of 5 and grandmother of 13. I am a product of an HBCU. My parents met on the campus of what was then Bethune Cookman College. I have traveled extensively throughout the continental United States. Voted the Girl Most Likely to Succeed in my Senior Class in high school and honorably discharged after serving four years in the U.S. Army as a Medic during the Viet Nam era. Published my first novel in 2007 entitled "The Man and His Music" which has found its way into a branch of the local library.

Current Whereabouts:
Motivational speaking, writing/editing, empowerment of people of color.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Create an entity that will provide my children and my children's children with resources that can be passed from generation to generation. To leave whatever piece of the planet I occupy at any given time better than how I found it.

Claim To Fame:
Employee of the Quarter - Town of Golden Beach - First/Second Quarter of 2013. Served on the Board of Directors for Revelation Community Education Center. Founded Sisters With A Vision, Inc. - a non-profit organization for the empowerment of women dealing with substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence and other social dis-eases. Worked with other non-profits including the Nubian Sistahood, the Women's Empowerment Project, the Florida HIV/AIDS Ministry (FHAM), and the Community Crusade Against Drugs of South Florida, Inc. (CCAD). Contributing editor to Parables Magazine.
Most Memorable Moment:
Being inducted into Alpha Chi (National Scholarship Honor Society) and Delta Mu Delta (National Business Honor Society). Receiving the Wilkie D. Ferguson Scholarship. And graduation of course.
