About   (request update)
I transferred from Borough Of Manhattan Community College after I recieved a degree in Liberal Arts. I decided to attend North Carolina Central because I heard their classroom setting was more personal ,and more attention was given to students do to the class size being smaller. I also heard about it being one of the more prestigious hbcu's. I decided to major in psychology because of my passion for children. I taught sunday school at my church in New York, and I taught children ages three to fifthteen. The neighborhood they lived in was not a very nice neighborhood. As the children got older they developed a violent and anger streak. I did not have to wonder where the streak came from because their parents were the same way. I decided then that I wanted to help and counsel children who had been abused or been products of substance abuse. I also wanted to help children dealing with being in a broken home. Here I am now studying to become a counselor, and working to pay my way in school.

Undergrad Major: Psychology
Claim To Fame:
I claim my future carrer in marriage and family counseling
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment was the first day of my experimental psychology. The professor said he wanted the class to grasp the material and that if we study he would work to make sure we understood the material. As he talked I could see he took pride in teaching and he really wanted us to succeed not only in his class but in the world.
High School: Harry S.Truman High SCHOOL in Bronx, NY class of 2001

Activities & Accomplishments:
Chorus, Step Team, Peer Mediator
Best Memories:
My best experience was when peer mediator's had to paint our faces white to represent how many people died from smoking cigarettes, and using drugs. We were not allowed to talk we just wore signs stating the different effects of nicotine and substance abuse. It was funny because some kids tried their best to make us talk, some told jokes or tried to act like they were going to fight us just to make us talk, But we stood our grounds. At the end of the day we had a lot of laughing and words to make up for.
