A native of Natchez, Mississippi, Ylani is a current third year law student at Mississippi College School of Law. She is a member of Phi Delta Phi International Law Honor Society, the Public Interest Law Group, and current secretary of the R. Jess Brown Chapter of the Black Law Student Association. After law school, Ylani plans to pursue a legal career focusing on civil litigation and intellectual property.
