Born in Reidsville NC. Attended school in Reidsville & Greensboro NC. Served in the 173rd & 101st Airborne of the US Army. Served in the Republic Of Viet Nam. Attened Guilford Technical College, Central Piedmont Community College (NC), Virginia Western(VA) Union College(NJ).

I started playing keyboards around 13 years old. I taught myself at church during the week. I soon learved to play saxaphone, drums, and bass. I also sing, compose, arrange & produce. I am active in music performance, productione & promotion. My current company is Sweet Dreams Productions. This company responsible for the creation of Sweet Dreams Band, both in business since 1885.

Since 1972 I have performed, recorded, produced or opened shows with such artist as....Solomon Burke, Joe Simon, Lee Dorsey, Betty Davis, Frankie Beverley & Maze, Cameo, Midnight Star, Atlantic Star, Mothers Finest, Patti Labelle, Peaboy Bryson, P Funk, Larry Graham, Mandrill, Evelyn King, Ashford & Simpson Regina Bell, Tom Browne, David Sanborn, Gerald Veasley, Gerald Alston, Gerald Albright, Bohannon, Miles Jaye, Cashflow and many more.

Have performed or promoted events for such HBCU schools as....NC A&T State University, Bennette College, Winston Salem State University, J.C. Smith University, Livingstone College, North Carolina Central University, South Carolina State University, Viriginia State University, Hampton Unversity, Morgan State University, Howard University, the MEAC & CIAA.......just to name a few.

I have also served as an Artist In Residence for the Afro American Cultural Center in Charlotte NC, and as a member of the Tour Roster for the North Carolina Arts Council.

Currently based out of Durham & Greensboro NC, I continue to strive to do the best job possible when it comes to the education, performance, production & promotion of music and the various aspects of entertainment.

Provinding first class entertainment for any event. Closley watching the high school senoir year of the youngest of my four daughter...lol, proudly watching my oldest get settled in her career as a self-employed Young Black Women ( NC A&T undergrad & masters), and of course hanging with the grandchildren, Amaya & Ryan.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Continued sucess of a company that has been in business since 1984! T successfully have a series of concerts to help fund the Janice L. Mills Scholarship Foundation.Janice is my late sister, and a former Dean of the North Carolina Central University Law School. It is my mission to help keep her legacy alive with an annual fund raising concert.
