Q&A With Erika Neal

Can cant black women give the next women props?
"I definitely am about giving Black women (and any other person) their props! I am happy for the next Black woman to do well and excel, because we have many things that come against us, including being female and African American. So when one of us makes it big, that is something to celebrate... but I know some choose to hate instead. I say stop the hating and congratulate and encourage each other. Because if one of us can do it, then so can others! ~ E"

Interviewed by Natasha Madaris 08/18/08

What would you say is hindering you from being all that you can be?
"Fear of failure and doubting myself. I encourage lots of other ppl to do things, but I know I need to practice what I preach...and that will take me really stepping out of my "comfort" zone."

I wanted to let me know how much your comments blessed me. I am speaking specifically about the comment you made about surrender. It was truly an on time comment, because that is what I'm dealing with right now. How long have you been walking with the Lord? What would you say is the most significant way that God is moving in your life? Were you saved at FAMU? Send me an email. My email address is mrnwil2002@yahoo.com
