Claim To Fame:

Health Reform in the State of Washington- served on the Washington Health Services Commission as one of five full time Commissioners. Chair of Tacoma Public Utility Board Trustee of Bates Technical College !st Vice President Tacoma Branch NAACP

Most Memorable Moment:

Upward Bound Student in 1966 when there was only one site in the Country called "Project Overcome". Creating an Ethnic Studies CLuster College at WWU Convincing the faculty to endow the Western Grant Fund by contributing 1% of their salaries and deploying that fund to recruit and support minority students at WWU

High School: Stadium in Tacoma, WA class of 1967

Activities & Accomplishments:

Varsity Athletics- football, basketball and Track; honor Society;

Best Memories:

football season 9and 0 season record, invitation to track and field championships regional and State twice; and
