My name is Deshawna Bledsoe. I was born December 19, 1990, I am 17 years old and a rising senior at Churchland High School in Portsmouth, VA, where I have lived all of my life. I live in a two parent home with my younger sister. I am currently working two jobs to help my family. I work at DEB and Pizza Hut.

I am very involved in my high school DECA chapter here I held the position of Chapter Historian last school year. I also participate in a community marching band called TMA for two seasons. This season I have the position of the section leader of the flag squad. Not only am I active in my community and school but I am also active in my church where I teach children’s church on selected Sundays to children between the ages of 2 -5.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
to achieve my dream of obtaining a degree in Marketing so that one day I can own my very own marketing business
