My Interview Question
What are your lifelong goals as a young person?
Current Whereabouts:
I currently work for a nonprofit organization in which I work with inner city (high risk) children. My programs are offered during afterschool in several elementary and middle schools. I offer tutoring an mentoring services to the students.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
To run my own consulting (educational based) firm.

Undergrad Major: Religious Studies
Claim To Fame:
Both times I attended and finished VCU, I was able to maintain a 3.0 grade point average and work two jobs while attending school. I received my first degree in Criminology with an emphasis on Child Care Advocacy and a second degree in 2005 with a degree in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Theology. I wish I could have done all of this when I was a student at VSU but I know now that it was not my time then .
Most Memorable Moment:
My parents were able to see me graduate from college. On Saturday, May 11, dressed in my graduation attire, I entered the groundfloor of the Richmond coliseum with my department for graduation. It was very breathtaking, overwhelming and exciting. Knowing that I made it. I believed in myself, I received the blessing from God, so in other words: I claimed it, I believed it and received it (the blessings). My mom passed in 2007 and was alive and was able to see me graduate both times. That will always be the most memorable college moment for me.
