Claim To Fame:
I beat the odds. I was a teenage mother and I graduated from high school. (Something according to society and my family I was not going to do)Later, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice. Most recently, earned a Master of Arts degree in Urban Education/Community Counseling. (Oh my gosh!! I really was not suppose to graduate with my Masters degree; again according to society and my family) I thank God for my trials and tribulations, my ups and downs for they have made me the person I am today.
Most Memorable Moment:
Graduating!!!!! I am a living testimony to my two daughters and others that all things are possible.
High School: Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, VA class of 1991
