What is the one quality that distinguishes you from others?
"Im a "sensible risk taker. I climbed Paradise Pic in St. Maarten two years ago and have the pictures. I tend to not go along with the crowd -- opting to create my own adventures. I enjoy my own company, althoough I'm in a profession that puts me around people all the time. So, I'm social but not afraid to go it alone, if necessary. I'm an award-winning publicist and writer. I've been running a business since 1981....as a solo practitioner. I'm currently Chief Information Officer for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Most Memorable Moment:

Earned Virginia Chase Prize for being hardest-working student at Spelman College. Met Dr. King while swimming at the Atlanta YMCA. As I was doing my back stroke, he lapped past me, turned around and said, "I'm Martin King." I did a double take...gulped water and introduced myself. Our next "contact" was when I served as a Spelman hostess at his funeral.

I was editor of my high school newspaper. I didn't really "soar" until I got out of high school.
