About   (request update)
I am in my mid 50's, was raised by good parents who instilled in me the "Golden Rule". They told me I don't have to steal anything. If its something that I need they would try to get it for me. They always encouraged me to do my best, and not take the easy way out. This practice has stayed with me and has been impacted with a desire to know the Word and Will of God. I can't see how so many people live their lives daily without acknowledging God; or the presence of God, but live without even thinking that God sees everything we do, hears everything we speak, and discerns every thought we think. The Bible says that we will stand before Him and be judged for what we have done on Earth.

I am originally from Grambling, LA. An alumni of GSU, it was the only school for me. After graduating GSU, I received a diploma in Digital Electronics in 1983. I could not deal with inner-city youths so I changed careers. The instructions on circuitry, diagnostic eqipment and troubleshooting really proved beneficial to me in many aspects.

I had a desire to expand in the area of sales so I later received a diploma in Retail Sales in 1988. God used Tandy's (Radio Shack) successful sales teachings to build up my confidence and ability to effectively witness to people. Talk about Overcoming Objections

The early 90's found me moving from Baton Rouge to back home. God was shaping my life and I didn't really know it. At this time I began to live with a deep thirst for God and His will for my life. I began to learn the Word of God and have a desire to see souls saved. God has used me in the past to evangelize one on one and on the street, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I made a very SHOCKING discovery as I talked to many people. Many people (especially church goers) are basing their salvation on the wrong things. People have said that they are establishing their salvation on their works, water baptisms, being good, not having done evil, belief in Christ, joining a church membership, & one person said they were saved because their Mother was saved. If your salvation does not include the Virgin Birth, the Death , Burial and Ressurection of Jesus Christ, and you inviting Christ to be your Lord, and believing and accepting Him by faith that He is your Lord & Savior, AND Repenting of your sins, then you are not saved. We are separated from God by SIN and only the Blood of Jesus can wash us of this sin.
Today I am enjoying married life with my blessed "good thang". We try to spend quality time by travelling, watching movies and visiting different ministries. We are looking forward to a time when we can retire and travel and enjoy ourselves.
My Interview Question
Are you happy with where you are in life now?
Current Whereabouts:
I like to be aware of whats going on around me. From a sensory observation, to local, regional and worldwide awareness. I turn on CNN when I awake, on my way to work (45 minute commute) I will listen to my Police Scanner. This gives me a vantage point of knowing whats going on and to pray for God's angellic or divine intervention, especially for emergency life & death events. I primarily enjoy spending time with my precious lady. I really like YouTube and surfing the net. Its a great source of info on whatever you can think of.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Simply to do God's will.

Education   (request update)
Grambling State University class of 1975
Undergrad Major: Recreation Management
Claim To Fame:
BIG DEAL but ... I Wore the first authentic, Afro on the then Grambling College Campus (not simply missed a few haircuts), in the summer of 1967. I began growing it in March in Cleveland, Ohio. When I came home for the summer it was viewed as a very rebellious and militant hairstyle by the staunch traditionals. Had to cut it off if I wanted to participate in Upward Bound. Eight years later as a graduating Senior I was known to sport the biggest Afro on the now Grambling State University campus. A photo of this Fro can be seen in my photos at classmates.com
Most Memorable Moment:
Dr. Ralph Waldo Emerson Jones presenting my diploma December 19, 1975.
High School: Grambling State University Lab School in Grambling, LA class of 1970
