About   (request update)
I am a retired navy veteran with 22 years of service. I joined the Navy after trying to make it on a few dead-end jobs. Six months of working in fastfood and janitoral services, I decided to see the world and that I did. Joining the Navy was the best decision I made in my life. I can't help sounding like a recruiter but it gave me the skills I needed to be successful in life. The Navy was the total package for me. Great Job, Outstanding Benefits, and now that I see both sides Excellent Pay. However, just like everything, it can to an end with retirement.

An associates asked me would I like to make more money while I still have my job, WHY NOT! neither the pay or hours were great...I went to a hotel meeting, and got sucked in. I did not have the mentorship nor the success once I got started with that company so I quit & went back to the corporate arena.

There I was promised to make decent amount of money on my sales and commission. However, I was not told you have to get the right leads to make the money I was promised. In three months time since my hiring there, I was told my performance was low and I had to pick it up or risk beening temimated. I never in my life have I been told my performance was poor. I was really upset knowing I work 12 hours a day driving hours to my territory, knocking doors, talking to customers and solving problems the company created to be told this. Boy was I upset especially when I see other reps sitting in the office just answering their phone taking orders without going in their area. I finally realized that if I want to get paid for what I was worth, I had to pay myself.

It was after this experience I realized I was not programed to have a 9 to 5 stay in your box Just Over Broke and decided, I'm going to take those same efforts that I have use for so many years in the Navy, working a job and instead of making other people dreams come true, I'm going to make mine come true.
