Currently, I am a Foreign Affairs Officer for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) within the Department of State. My job is to represent and communicate DRL objectives and policies to other State Department and U.S. government officials. I am also responsible for editing the Human Rights Reports for Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. During my seven years at the state department my areas of responsibilities have included Near East Asia- Jordan, Iran, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, South Asia- Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, and East Asia Pacific - Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Current Whereabouts:
I live in Northern Virginia and I work in DC.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I would like to learn how to say "thank you" in 50 different languages by my 50th birthday. Currently, I can say "thank you" in 37 languages.

Claim To Fame:
Professionally: I can find anything, if it exists I'll find it. I'll find a needle in a haystack. Personally: I don't wear black shoes and I have a pair of shoes for every outfit.
Most Memorable Moment:
Seeing Black couples for the first time. The day President Johnnetta B. Cole told us we better graduate.
