Shamika Edwards sibling of eight. i grew up in a very poor home. i've over come home less ness and all the hards ships i've had to face along with that. i've been told all my life i couldn't be this and i wouldn't do that i've been judged and called things i'm not i've been used i've been hurt and for as long as i can remember i have allowed people to take avantage of me because i felt worthless but in the end i got the last laugh i've learned to deal with all i have been through and i accepted it learned from it and crafted a new me, now i know that knowledge is the key to living a new life .

What are some unique quailites about you that set you apart from others?
Current Whereabouts:
Right now i'm really into writing. i'm currently on a scholarship hunt and trying to figure out what i really want to be in life although i have choices to choose from i'm at the most difficult stage BUT MY DREAM IS TO WRITE FOR A MAJOR MAGAZINE COMAPNY SUCH AS VIBE OR ESSENCE, ETC. I WANT TO GO INTO THE FIELD OF COMMUNICATION AND JOURNALISM HOPEFULLY I'LL BE ABLE TO DO THAT.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
lIFE ..... WOW I'VE COME SO FAR IT'S YET THERES STILL MANY MORE MILES TO go before i reach the top. success to me means you've reached that point in your life where you can finally look back on your accomplishments and life experiences both good and bad and smile with no regrets i cant wait till i reach the top of my mountain
i live by the motto pain is enevitable suffering is optional it really speaks for itself everyone will endure some type of pain weather they chose to suffer from it is totally up to them i chose to learn n grow from my painful experience as a child
