Brenda Joyce Nichols grew up in Memphis, TN as a Baptist preacher’s kid surrounded with the love of her parents, siblings, extended family and church family. Her charismatic personality is flavored with humor, a keep it real attitude, seasoned with Christian values, love, passion and romance. She ushers in the presence of God while using her God-given gifts and talents to bring honor and glory to Him in all things.

“God allowed me an awesome escape through the writing of my fiction romance novels while being a caregiver to my aging Mother. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would one day self-publish my writings.” Heaven Must Be Like This (2002) and Heavenly Portions (2003) are her first literary works. Journal Your Testimony (2006), a non-fiction presentation booklet, became a new calling card while speaking and teaching on the importance of keeping a journal. The release of her newest book, Blind But Now I See (December 2008), tells her story of undergoing two corneal transplants while living with a debilitating eye disease that labeled her as being functionally blind for seven years.

Brenda diligently pursues her passion of being an author, motivational speaker, seminar/workshop consultant on marriage and family development, and care giving for the elderly. She works in the healthcare industry and is actively involved in adult literacy. She celebrates twenty-eight years of marriage and has three children and one grandson.
