Claim To Fame:
I was the only one that got standing ovations and hugs from many of the JSU faculty, during graduation, going up, on and leaving the platform stage.
Most Memorable Moment:
I was leaving my praticum when I witnessed a JSU football coach was hit, by a woman ( in her car who was trying to run from the scene), while on a scooter in the downtown area of Jackson, MS. I was able to assist him by helping him to stay as calm as possible (letting him rest his head on my thin purse and begging him not to move) That was a hot MS day and that asphalt was burning.

Activities & Accomplishments:
Sgt. at Arms- Student Government (some thought me the President), Human Relations Club- attended a Gang Violence Prevention Conference- a former Vice Lord member was the Presenter, Golf Club, Radi
Best Memories:
being on student government and human relations club, being trusted by the staff and principal of the school, having a year round hall pass,taking a lot of I.D. pictures (secretly), knowing WHY all Milwaukee Public Schools didn't have night football games (the street gangs fought too much), going to Pappagio's Club, attending a Quiencinera of a friend (didn't speak Spanish, signal and body language helped- HAD FUN), Senior skip day (got caught by my dad's employee, she told him), had off campus lunch (that's when the year long hall pass came into play, we'd miss 2 classes), having the opportunity to see multicultural, race & ethnicity interact, conflict and resolve. OH!, I didn't get to the prom- who is going to take me now?
