Q&A With Phillip Dugan

My interests are in digital technology, ancient religions and black history/studies. What are yours?
"My interests are in ancient religions (some refer to this as mythology, some accept it as theology), modern religions, computers, electronics technology, professional networking, philosophy, art, music, astronomy, and future planning. It is obvious that I have assumed interests in many fields, but I believe it is a good thing to have multiple interests, for one who has these many interests can relate to many people (in at least one interest, most of the time)."

About   (request update)
What makes me special is the way I think. Everyone is different in their own way, but most differences occur within the brain, because the way we think is totally unique and varies by situation. We are all composed of the same elements and are of the same species so my mind makes me special, just as yours does for you. Here's a little on how I think:
I value intuition over emotion, although I do give emotion high regards in decision making. I understand the value of knowledge and the opportunities given to those with plenty of it. I like to read books for empowerment...knowledge lies within books. I like to try to strengthen and balance both halves of my brain: the creative/artistic self and the intuitive/logically thinking self. I have a strong belief in destiny, because all things that happen, were meant to happen although at times we may wish that it didn't happen. Just as things could have been better, things could be worse. This is why I do not dwell in the past; instead I try to remember my past in hopes for a brighter future. You can learn from your past mistakes, failures, and successes. I am an egalitarian, which means I believe in everyone's equality-young and old, black and white (and everything in between), male and female, etc. although there are some marital stipulations, which I believe should be upheld that may seem to delegate unequal roles to individuals. I believe in the positive/negative balance of all things in the world. Yin is as powerful as Yang and vice-versa. Yin-Yang is not the collision and attempted balance between good and evil, but more of a fulfillment between that which is and that which is not. Space and no space, air and water, good and not good, here and not here. I also believe that life is a big test divided by a series of smaller tests, which we endure everyday, whether we pass or fail them. We are all here on Earth to accomplish a specific task, and it should be fulfilled before we depart in death. I believe in a higher power and that the creator of all things wants us to gain as much knowledge of ourselves as possible and to actually look to it as well as ourselves and resources for guidance in life, with the creator as the center of each person's life. I believe that all "good" beings rest in tranquility as all "evil and corrupted" things endure an indescribable state of torment after perishing. I don't believe that any one particular religion is the only way to "heaven" and that GOD is the final judge; not your priest, nor your pastor, or your parents, friends, Mary, Jesus, or anyone for that matter except GOD itself, which created all things. I also believe that GOD (which is a title, not a name) does judge in a fair manner and knows all people's hearts, minds, souls and fate. All people should do that which maximizes his or her happiness, as long as it doesn't hurt others, or isn't done with cruel intent.
Heres a little on marriage:
Although I do believe that the man should be the head of the household and that the female should respect, honor, be supportive of, and obey her husband. The husband should respect, honor, be understanding of, protect, and provide for his wife.
My Interview Question
Do you believe that it is important to pick friends based upon similarities as well as differences?
Current Whereabouts:
School & Work, Philosophical Insight & Higher Truths, Future Mansion Design, Future Planning, Fighting the Department of Veterans Affairs for benefits I'm rightfully entitled to.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I would love to sucessfully own and operate businesses. I would also like to invest money in such a way that it would exponentially grow. My professional role model is Warren Buffet. I would also like to get my books published and expand my knowledge in the field of information technology. Marriage and a family is something I wish to do in my mid twenties...I will be there for my family to provide and protect, as a man should do.
