Dr. Bell has just returned from Zimbabwe, Africa where she taught Transformational Leadership to 180 students dring the during the second semester of 2014, at Africa University in Mutare. She has worked in other countries in Africa, and retired from Montgomery County, Maryland Public Schools where she served as a counselor, principal of a junior high and principal of a senior High school. She also served as director of the Department of Human Relations/ EEOC Officer, and Director of adult Educatuon and Summer School, before retiring'. In Las Vegas, she taught as an adjunct professor at UNLV. Dr. Bell served as the National President of the Bennett College Alumnae Association, where the alumnae raised their first one mllion dollars.. She and her husband have four children, eight grand children and one great grand son.
Just prior to going to Africa, Dr. Bell served as the National Vice President for Publlic Relations for the National Alumni Council of UNCF. Locally she volunteers with the Las Vegas Inter-alumni Council of the NAC of UNCF. Dr. Bell says she in tends to work until she goes to her eternal home. She is currently relaxing as she awaits her new assignment. She expects to teach, cr mentor or coach school administrators. She is active in her church, and serves as a liiturgist and a member of the Missions Team.
