You know, Me..“Yo Little Southern Belle MIISRAEL.” How so quickly I’m forgotten.. when it’s only a little news like I tell! Why… some of you still don’t wreck-o-nize me? “I’m pure-D- speechless! “ Hand me my fan! I’m getting a little warm with all these petycoats and thangs! You’ll need to bring yo' shades on this tour, cause these Southern news stories all have lites burnin brite!….. “Wait, befo.we go..I got to put on my shades. November 21 issue read as follows: LOOK it’s the STAR SHIP S.I.Y.S.T.T. (prounouced like City) We‘re inside…. We’’re goin to a see some star lights….in Huntsville, AL Why we’re jus like the astro-knots sailing into out to space! LANDING WHERE THE GARDENS SHINE: GALAXY OF LIGHTS!--BONTANICAL GARDENS--Huntsville, AL November 20 thru December 31, 2008 This is a real fancy tour “wit a heap” of lights to look at! You will be travelin into the twilight zone to some awesome lighted displays…. It’s surely some’thin to see….. I guess. Everywhere you look there will be lights… Didn’t I tell ya?…. These are Christmas lites! How can Christmas lights be a Galaxy ? Well, I speck cause it’s lot like the stars…Huntsville has it where you can drive and see the lights rite from you car >>. We talking bout a mile and a half of road ya’ll! Take yo’ car and go on drive thur nights: November 21-23rd. If your weight is con science go walking other nites when it’s walkin only, so put on yo shades and some comfortable shues and walk on: Nov. 13-16. If you is a member of the Botanical Gardens be show to bring you membor-ship cards. None member folks can walk thru Nov. 21-23. They is Xtended the hours, so you and yo’ “chaps!” can come here early to be out the way of late people nighters who drag in at the last minute. You’ll have at least till 10 o’clock…“now that's what I call a real late nite!” You gon need to buy some tickets and stuff, and some have to be purchased in advanced. Otherwise, you gon be staying on the ship. The Gazebo Gift Shops will sell some tickets. Wherever dat is? Hay, I’don’t even knot know…but…Here is the web site and you can read bout “all them there thangs” prices and visit times and stuff like that.. Did ya’ll see Dat? “They is calling us a U.F.O. !” “We got’s to land some where quick! …Over thar! ..I see a field of lights..” THE SOUTHERN LIGHTS AT THE KENTUCKY HORSE PARK LEXINGTON, KY November 21- December 31, 2008 Go ahead and“Mother-load” yo’ self right on out there! There is more enchanting and spectack-ulars light displays on a 'horse's park'. Keep yo’ shades handy… These lights are indeed flashing fast! “Blast..it! I just had a “phase- zar shoot pass me “…eee..ow! “Hur’ree up.. get yo’self down on one of them pony rides!"….. Come out of thar..…you can’t ride them racing horses! There are ponies rides for the d’ kiddies..and….also, they’ll have a Mini Express Train! …Scoot over, I'll ride wit you.? You know what, I bleeve I know that man runnin the train, he’s not an alien, he’s my friend Mike M. Mike, ..he lives in Lexington! “Put that pedal to the metal Mike!” AawwwH! What a ride!…"search horse power!" ….Umm.. I’m better now….Anyhow, get yo’ self to that horsie park in Lexington, KY and INjoy the fun! Brang you some money…they is selling stuff and that means it anin’t free. "Shhh! Stay quiet… We got to sneek back to the ship…“Mr. Sulu, yo’ cant come wit us!….Mozell, why didn’t you tell me Mr. Sulu was comin on the ship? He's been reading that “Arrivals, Departures and Flights of Fancy of yurs..Here Sulu.. "Jen you looks eye- po -tizing!" NORTH CAROLINA HOLIDAY FLOTILLA! AT WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, VA November 28-November 29 Do you know what a flotilla is? Do you know where Wrightsville Beach, NC is?…."I know who Godzilla is mate…Uggh!"…"That was Croc-o-Duke DonRee" Get out on to the beach and take a ride on a lighted boatplot, I mean float. Look at that!-- it's a boat parade. This seem likes a lots of fun... with a high tide at the at the lighted beach! They is havin a "beach liited party!"….“Santa and Mrs. Clause are scheduled to appear in their swim wear!“ Wait a minute,…I’m gon..writ my Santa Claus letter now…. Dear Santa: All I want fo Christmas is “A ‘lil Southern News and a turkey… Okay.. ...I comin.."The rest of the letter I‘ll write later when I‘m makin my list and chekin' it twice” You can see the beach that will be loaded up in lights, and there is a tree lighting ceremony too! …Sooooo...More too shine !--the arts are fairest, and crafts glowing for those shiny presents to put "under d’ tree." It’s that time,….Ya’ll put’ own yo’ shades ……… here’s comes the boat parade! Now, I’m sinkin my toes in the sand…Marta, please for a few minutes...take off yo’ Obama scarf honey! Wear yo’ shades, Sat down and enjoy the lighted view…… THIS IS A FLOTILLA! If no men are in old enough at the family dinner,any guest Gentleman will do…then, for female family members only, the Eldest Southern Belle can do it- but, only -- for dinners where no men are present that are old enough.
