Death and my Understanding

Posted By: William Syms on June 29, 2005 I understood death to be final. It seems lately my mind has been trying to find a way to reverse the process. My friend of eleven years was killed in Iraq on June 15th and is being buried this week. He didn't deserve that end, the thousands of young brothers and sisters dying everyday deserve better. This week I am struggling with my understanding of death. I'm angry with the concept and how its theft is so finite. We have to do better. WOW baby Im sorry to hear that. You have my deepest sympathy goes out to you. I understand completely what you are going through. I have so many ex boyfriends/cousins/ close friends over there.. and lord knows if something happened to ne of them I'd lose it. My prays are with you. Take care sweetie.

Understand things that occur are purposely beyond our own understanding. God has a more complex and in depth reason for all things that occur. You may think because it hasn't happened to me that I can say what I do, but I haven't slept a full night since my significant other has started training to go over and it has not gotten any easier. He is the head of one f the camps... career-wise excellent, risk factor- I just pray about it, really hard. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart... is the only that I would share with you. There are so many negatives, but feel blessed to have shared in the life of such a great person. Take Care and God Bless!

I've always believed that God puts us through things for various reasons. Although your friend passed and you may feel that there is no positive to this situation, it is still important for you to search for it. Allow me to help you, U were blessed to spend 11 beautiful years with your friend, now he is blessed to spend all of eternity with our creator. I love you like a brother and I know you will get through this. Call me if you need me. ~Shay

My heart goes out to you and your loss. I just buried my lifetime friend, he was bombed over in IRAQ 6/11/05....I have come to the realization GOD is real and no matter how we try to come up with reasons why DEATH shouldn't be, He tells us that a man that is born of a woman is but a few days and those days are filled with trouble. I just pray that he helps US through this and one day he will show us why DEATH is. I do know this one thing we all have to go that way one day. Until then we have to live right, give our life to him, and ask him for the strength to keep you in his care.
