Posted By: Jehan Bunch on December 18, 2008 Job Description: The Interior Design Department offers a BFA in Interior Design. The department enrolls approximately 80 students. A combination of full-time and adjunct faculty contribute a range of professional interests and expertise. The Interior Design program exposes students to the creative integration of form, materials, function and aesthetics within interior and architectural space. This is a CIDA accredited program. Qualifications / Requirements: Required Qualifications: • M.Arch or MFA in Interior Design or Interior Architecture • Minimum 3 years professional experience • Advanced computer proficiency • Diverse experience in building typologies • Commitment to universal design and accessibility; sustainable design discipline Desired Qualifications: • Teaching experience at the college level • Interior Design Licensure eligibility • NCIDQ Certification eligibility • Experience in CIDA accreditation process • Knowledge of codes and regulations, building construction and environmental controls • Architectural Licensure eligibility • LEED Certification APPLY TO: www.rit.edu/careerzone Contact Information: Company: Rochester Institute of Technology The College of Imaging Arts and Sciences at RIT offers programs in Art, Design, Crafts, Film and Animation, Photography and Print Media.
