Get Up and Work

Get Up and Work
Posted By: Theresa Brazle on December 19, 2008

It is obvious we are supposed to work more than rest. Some people just lie on the couch, eating junk food and watching television all day, and then wonder why their lives are a wreck.

Once rested, get up and work. You can’t take authority over your life if you don’t have authority over a sink full of dirty dishes or a messy garage. If you want to grow in ministry to others, the Word says you must get your own house in order first (see 1 Timothy 3:5). Stay home and clean if you need to; but win the battle of getting your life in order before tackling the whole world.

I think that is very good advice, To many women put everything and everyone before themselves. The instructions the flight attendant give is to put on your mask first.

Thanks for your blog and for sharing !
Too much sleep is not good, once rested, it's time to take ACTION !
I can sleep when I'm dead !
God put us in this world to accomplish what we were meant to accomplish !
We knew all of this when we were in our mothers womb, thats what made us want to be born.
We forgot it along the way, but need to REMEMBER our purpose.
In order to even begin to remember, we have to focus in on what makes us feel good in doing.
Working at something that makes you feel good serves its purpose in more ways than one and can become lucrative.
And it also triggers your points of self discovery.
Thanks again !

Peace,
Doc
