MILLIONS HAVE LOST EMPLOYMENT...WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ME?

Posted By: MIISRAEL Bride on January 10, 2009 I am very thankful I have work at least for the time being--and if you are still employed you are among the thankful. What does it this mean when I hear that millions are out of work. The polictical talk steers we are in for recession, the government of men are striving on money bail-outs of companies like banks, auto dealers, and high corporate companies, who somewhere along the way initially mishandled monies to save themselves, but aided to what now is a suffering economy. Whether the reasons are large or small, overall even if it was for greed or self-riches the finale of effects are upon all of us. I ask this question not only of myself, but for others who are in similar circumstances. What does this mean for me? Just the other day while at work, my peers and I were summoned into a conference regarding ways we can handle and assist in company cut-backs. We were asked to list ways we can conserve costs at work. We were also informed that any positions of resignations would not be filled for hire. Noted too, we were informed the possibilities of lay-offs could come. I am a very strong person of faith, and I live one day at a time. What does it mean for me? This means for me an increase in faith. This means for me that I am offering you my best encouragement that if unemployment is right at your door have faith in God to handle your circumstances. This is the enrichment I can share with you, that you do not become discouraged but have FAITH. I feel deeply it is within my purpose to help with words of strength and promises for a better day. I haven't financial riches to give, but what I have are much more better than money these are words I say in prayers that together we can give and have HOPE AND FAITH. MISTRAEL,as one who fully believe that everyting happens for a reason and that only by desasters do 'we' tend to demand a change of busines as usual;here is how I look at the job loss matter. As the best paying jobs in America were being outsourced there were no outlets to complain nor political leaders willing to listen to the average citizens' complaints about this...when the price of gas caused more job loss and more people unable to pay for food, shelter,again no voice of those suffering the most from this . Now the rich and powerful and famous are in a bind and are killing themselves and finding themselves in the soup lines...well you understand there is a public voice, government action and so on and so forth.Next step may be the word D-E-P-R-E-S-S-I-O-N or just welcome to the real world that our politicians got into office to protect from all of thishapppening in the first place?Who knows but there will be what Obama called for a government of the people as his driving force in the Whitehouse.(smile) A government of the people always provides Hope and my faith in is those like you and me and others joining in getting our government back to the people where it belongs.Thank you for this post as it is up lifting to me about HOPE and FAITH. ...oh,my husband is now down to one day of work. We live in Ca. where our governor has gone from our state will go broke by the end of 2008 to we will now go broke, get this, after Obama becomes president. Now mind you our governor is a REPUBLICAN(smile)
