Happy Belated New Year

Posted By: A.J. King on January 10, 2009 Hello Everyone, I just joined this group today and wanted to wish everyone a blessed 2009. Whether you have resolutions or goals I hope you achieve them in a positive light. I'm in Jacksonville, FL, surfing the web today for ideas for adverstising my small part-time home business (I make all natural soy candles and sell basic bath products by word of mouth) and saw this website and was interested in joining a group in 2009. I did not know it would be an online group, I was thinking of a group at church, but God knows what he is doing. So, here I am! I was instantly drawn to the My Prayer Room for some reason. I believe our Lord and savior knows better than I can explain. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and Happy New Year! May all your dreams come true. I will try to visit from time to time. Happy Easter to everyone! It has been a minute since I've been back to HBCUConnect.com, but hope everyone is doing well. I've been rather busy with work and the like. I was compelled today to just get somethings off my mind...at this moment I feel very anxious and can't explain it. I was just talking to my mother today and told her that I don't really love my job and want to do what I want to do for the rest of my life. The problem is I am obligated at the moment to continue to go to work so my mortgage and other bills can be paid. I ask anyone who reads this...have you ever had the feeling that you are about to be blessed in an unseen way and you don't know how you are going to handle it? I'm a dreamer my mother told me and I've always been a person that wants more out of life than just going to work, church, home and back to work. I volunteer, mentor, and help family and friends when needed, but I want to do more than I'm doing. Due these economic times, I feel I'm in GOD's economy, so I don't worry about where my next meal or paycheck is coming from, but do want to do a little more with my life or even share my life with someone. I don't know, but I am hopeful and had to write what was on my mind. Thanks for reading. Until next time... May God Bless you all.
