I’m Yo’ Little Southern Belle, MIISRAEL and I don’t know bout you but I’m ready to go from Memphis to Washington, D.C. There’s some fantastic places for you to see and look at! I almost feel like it’s Fantasy Island. Just in case y’all didn’t know, Mr. Ricardo Montebaum passed away on January 15, 2009 and well, I just thought I’d tell ya’ll that. Any way, since I’m kinda like the fantasy island of A Little Southern News I’m ready to take you a fun time to see the big event of President Obama, and also our other great leader Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. It’s a King's President of a Holiday!… So grab you some stuff up and put ‘em in the bag….We‘s got a plane to catch…! Fo' we leaves we goin to chase the events in Memphis Town.. “Faith is taking us…that’s my new car’s name.” Hold on to yo’ wig! Them chul’len is happy as a “fee’lark!” Look’s at em..they is runnin to go to The Civil Rights Museum…shouting out… WE IS OVERCOME! THE CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM- MEMPHIS TENNESSEE MLK YOUTH DAY! Ages: 3-10 Saturday, January 17, 2009 10.a.m.-2p.m. Come on around to the Civil Rights Museum and bring all you chull’en! This high to mighty good time will have games, trivia, cake decorating and all kinds of fun stuff! They even got a mini-performance play sponsored by the Hatiloo Theatre! You know what? It’s gone include a tour of the museum too. The best thing goin today is that all of this FREE! Know wonder yo’ chaps is happy! Ahh…pick up yo’ wig off the flo' and put it back on yo’ head. It’s cold outside…brrr! Wait Baby! ….Don’t get on that bus! Watch yo’ chaps will ya! We shall over come just might be heard around in this museum for real! Faith is bringing us right back ...it’s two days later and we’s back at the museum… MLK HOLIDAY-THE CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM-MEMPHIS TN MONDAY, JANUARY 19, 2009 10a.m-until closing time. All day tours scheduled of the museum, this event is usually FREE. Museum tour times will be scheduled; so call ahead for the hours fo’ you go! Then stop on by and tour it! Everybody comes on in! You’ll see the bus sat- in -thar‘, along with some awesome scenes of the Civil Rights Movement. Look it’s Dr. King… speech…I HAVE A DREAM… he’s added a new sentence line…. I have a dream today!… “I’m glad Americans gets to see a Dream of it’s 1st Black President” Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. You is ridin in Faith, hang around if you didn’t get’s to go on the trip to Washington and come back to The Civil Rights Museum of January 20, 2009 to see that Dream of Dr. King any how! Come on down to The Civil Rights Museum and watch it on TWO GIANT SCREEN TV’S! Yo’ eyes will be pooping and popping like popcorn! Why bring everybody that didn’t get to go! It’s a family affair! You can get gifts of commemorative items from the gifts shops but, sorry there will be NO TOURS on this event! THE 44TH PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION WASHINGTON, DC TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2009 "These here folk musta real came early!" See the thrills! Watch history right befo’ your own eyes. As the 1st Afro-American President will whisk on by us, all the crowd-- to go live in the White House. No mo’ backstairs at the white house, they can go “rat -n” the front doe! Yo’ chull’len will be sangin Obama! All nations and every race will be saluting and cheering as the we celebrate our country’s special event of honoring our next Commander and Chief, Barack Obama! And.. the Vice-President Joe Biden. There will be a swearing in ceremony, and then he’ll make his speech. Millions will be looking at all of this day for many years, billions will be well-wishing --and jus’ thank about it…A Little Southern News took us there too!…At least wise in words. Shucks! I’m glad to be here wit y’all! “Oh’ that’s so wonderful!” Thanks MLK… LOL!
