Local churches will be be offering services and prayers and speakers. At 10 a.m. many citizens of the Metro-City will gather for it's Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade. The parade will feature high school bands and cheerleaders from Memphis City Schools. In addition, The National Civil Rights Museum will be open at 10 for touring. There will be a coupon offered to the first 5,000 visitors for discounts from the gift shops inside the musuem. If you're in Memphis come on out! Check your local city events and see what's going to add in your celebration of this only Black National Holiday. DREAMS OF TOMORROW 01.19.09 Memphis, TN This history making weekend has been one of the most celebrated days in years. Many will also celebrate in the Presidential Inauguration on Tuesday. Visitors from Memphis will be making appearances in Washington D.C. Among one of the many going, is a volunteer trio group of musicians who will be playing elegantly in one of the featured events during tomorrows line up. The featured volunteer trio group are violinists. Total coverage of the visitors from Memphis will be highlighted and featured on local channels in the Memphis Tri-State areas be sure to check your local listings.
