So my question is: Can I get some input (good/bad) on the school, and it's surroundings?.. Feel free to tell me anything I should know.. Hey what's up. Okay i am from New Orleans and I went to Xavier Prep, the high school version of the university. well anyway. Xavier is not in one of the best neighborhoods but New orleans is a wonderful city to be in. I love it. there are so many things to do. People say that Xavier's campus is usually dead but i know of a lot of things that go down in the city. If you like clubbing there is a club across the street from Xavier it ain't the best but when u are a college student u have to do something. The guys New Orleans ' have a wide variety of African American males to look at. You have your thug(really they are bad), ypur ball players(u know basketball, football) the pretty boys(they kinda cute) you have preppy boys, the punk(no offense, have u ever heard bounce music) and you know there are average blow joes. Well the Schooling at Xavier is excellent as you know since you chose it. my friend's dad, Dr. rovaris is a dean over there. Girl We just had essence, and there is MArdi Gras, Bayou classic, we have a pro football and basketball team(you j r and now chris s*xy self plays for us) and then there is the culture things like musuems and jazz clubs and theater and all that the shopping and dining out is great too. I love my city but I just have to get away from my family. If you have any other question either talk to me on here or yahoo messenger xup05girl.

Hey Gurl, I dont live in New Orleans, but I plan on moving to Dillard University after my first or second year in college. I have friends going to Dillard and Xavier, and they are both wonderfuk schools ! I am not sure if they are rival schools or anything, I cant remember but I hope they are not. But Makiva was right. Its not in the peachiest neighborhood. My homegurl when down there during the essence festival, and she said its really really hood over by Xavier. be careful ok ?/ You're really pretty and I hate for anything to happen to you, When you go to orientaion listen to every safety precaution that they give you, because they are only telling you because they want you to be safe. Keep in touch if you'd like - you ALWAYS have someone to pray with, ok ?
